Ranking the World's Largest Company

Any company that entered the top ten rankings of the world's largest company? Every year the business magazine Fortune published a list ranking the largest 500 companies worldwide views of the value of sales (sales revenue). They call it the Global-500. As for the 500 list of largest companies as American, they call it the Fortune 500.

List all the world's largest companies are often a vital reference for probe pulse and the rate of the global economy. The ranking of the top ten largest of the company are as follows universal.

1. Wal-Mart Stores (revenue: USD 3230 billion and net profit of Rp 104 trillion)
2. Exxon Mobil (revenue: USD 3195 billion and net profit of Rp 363 trillion)
3. Royal Dutch Shell (revenue: USD 2933 billion and net profit of Rp 234 trillion)
4. BP (USD 2524 billion revenue and net profit of Rp 202 trillion)
5. General Motors (revenue: USD 1908 billion and losses of Rp 18 trillion)
6. Toyota Motors (revenue: USD 1884 billion and net profit to Rp 129 trillion)
7. Chevron (revenue: USD 1845 billion and net profit of Rp 158 trillion)
8. DaimlerChrysler (revenue: USD 1750 billion and net profit to Rp 37 trillion)
9. ConocoPhillips (revenue: USD 1587 billion and net profit of Rp 143 trillion)
10. Total (USD 1549 trillyun revenue and net profit of Rp 136 trillion)

Which was ranked first was Wal-Mart, a giant retail company on a global scale to be the toughest rival for Carrefour. Total income amounted to ... ... Rp 3230 trillion (more than three times the budget of Indonesia!).

Of the top ten rankings have some points worth noting. First, the dominance of oil companies is very prominent. There are six oil companies are the top ten, ranging from Exxon, BP, Shell, Chevron (in Indonesia formerly known as Caltex), to ConocoPhillips and Total. All these names have a business in the homeland. And due bonanza from soaring oil prices, the six oil companies that earn profits globally is staggering. Eg Exxon reap net profit amounting to Rp 363 trillion! (This much money it was enough to build a toll road stretching from Aceh to Papua ... ...).
